Dr. Rick Cohen is an avid athlete with two decades of experience in preventive medicine and sports performance nutrition. For many years, he has trained and counseled members of the American medical community on nutritional issues and, more recently, has become recognized as one of the leading authorities in the biological analysis of athletic performance factors. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.
After spending several years of research, Dr. Cohen has been able to pinpoint the physiological factors that stand between an athlete and his or her true athletic performance potential. He founded Core 4 Nutrition in an effort to share this knowledge to those interested in improving their health and fitness.
Core 4 Nutrition focuses on naturally restoring the four, core factors that contribute most significantly to optimum health and physical performance—vitamin D3, omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and micronutrients. The company offers athletes all abilities and ages the foundational, nutrient support their active bodies demand. The program features premium-quality, whole-food supplements along with a series of simple, at-home assessments that can be used to measure their restorative effects.
Dr. Cohen and his staff also provide nutrition and lifestyle strategies that can be used to build and strengthen the body at the cellular level and from the inside out.
